Pastor Craig grew up just down the coast on St. Simons Island, GA. Craig holds a B.A. in Religion from Berry College in Rome, GA; a M.T.S. from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, TN; and a M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ. He is married to Ashley Pope, and they have two children: Benjamin, who was born July 2009 and William, born February 2011. Craig enjoys running, nature, documentaries, reading, writing, playing with the kids and going on walks with Ashley (with Benjamin and William in tow). He roots for the Braves in baseball, for Vanderbilt in college football (UGA if Vandy's season is particularly rough), and Vanderbilt in basketball.
Craig has enjoyed positions as a ministry intern with the Presbyterian student college ministries at Vanderbilt and Princeton Universities. He has also been a part of ministries of First Presbyterian Church, Cranbury, NJ, and Nassau Presbyterian Church, in Princeton, NJ as a ministry intern.

Nancy Stone is from Savannah and has been the organist/pianist at MPC since 1987. She has a BA in Music from Armstrong Atlantic State University. In addition to her ministry of music at MPC, she also plays piano and sings in clubs and restaurants around town. Her favorite hobbies are gardening and reading or just spending time with her family. Nancy has a daughter, Lucy, who attends high school and shares her mother's love of music.
Leigh joined MPC's staff as secretary in September 2010. In addition to working with the church, Leigh is an international adoption consultant with An Open Door Adoption Agency, a non-profit, Christian agency based in Georgia. When she's not involved in her part-time work, Leigh enjoys hiking, kayaking, motorcycling and just about anything else outdoors. An avid baseball fan, she has high hopes for the Atlanta Braves. Leigh and her husband Shawn moved to Savannah in 2004 and have found a warm welcome both from Savannah and from Montgomery Presbyterian. They have one child, Michael, who was born in 2008.
Child Care, Angela Jackson
Angela Jackson has graciously answered the call to be MPC's Nursery Attendant. Angela was born in Savannah and has lived here all her life. She is the fifth child in a family of eight children. Most of her siblings are here in Savannah. She has 13 nieces and nephews that she loves very much. Angela graduated from Windsor Forest High and has completed college courses in Early Childhood Development and has five years of childcare experience. Angela presently works for St. Joseph's/Candler as a Customer Service Representative in the Diabetes Management Program. Angela has worked for the hospital system for the past 18 years and is married to William L. (Billy) Jackson, lifelong member of Montgomery Presbyterian Church. Angela and Billy are the proud parents of a daughter, Rebecca, who was born in April 2010.
