Savannah Presbytery: Forty-Two Churches United in Love
United in the love of God, and commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ, Savannah Presbytery, a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) family, is called out of the world to go into the world, supporting and encouraging the ministry and mission of the churches that are Savannah Presbytery.
The Mission of the Savannah Presbytery
Nurturing and support churches and Ministers through frequent personal contact, particularly during times of special needs;
Initiating and encourage communication with and among churches;
Providing training opportunities and resources for Christian Education and youth;
Providing opportunities for Spiritual growth;
Providing opportunities for Christian service;
Enabling broad participation in the life and work of the Presbytery insuring inclusive representation;
Providing lay leadership training;
Developing plans for New Church Development and Congregational Revitalization;
